Classical Conversations Blogroll

If you are a blogger, blog about homeschooling, and use Classical Conversations (at home or in a community), please share a link to your site!  (CC Community sites are welcome to link-up with us as well!)

In light of our focus on Classical Conversations Community, let's get to know one another in hopes that we will get to meet each other face-to-face one day!  Plus, it's fun and inspiring to find out what others are doing.

In the future, we also hope to have a weekly link-up (and/or a monthly blog carnival) to share week-by-week what we are doing on the CC homeschooling front.

And in case you'd like to include a button in your sidebar:

When you share your link to your blog (it need not be a specific post), please list your first name followed by the name of your blog. Be sure to share this site with others so that they can also find out what CC is like across the nation - and the world!   Thank you for connecting to our Classical Christian Community!

  4. We do CC and I blog about it occasionally. I've got two Abecedarians this year, next year I'll have an Abecedarian and an Apprentice :) My blog is http://lifewithoutpeanutbutter.com (guess who has peanut allergies?!)

  5. I just realized that the link up widget does not display on the automatic email messages. So... to link up, open up this post and go down to where it has the "add your link" button. Click it - it should open up a place where you can type in your website url, your name, and your email.

If you want to include the button on your site somewhere, just take the html code listed in the post and paste it in a text widget (using html option instead of rich text format) on your blog.

  6. We are starting CC in the Fall! My oldest is 4, so this is our very first year to homeschool. I am equal parts excited/terrified! I blog at www.consideritjoyblog.wordpress.com. I've taken a hiatus because of a big personal trainer test I was studying for, but will be back at it soon. Thanks for the great blog!

  8. This is a great idea. I only know of two CC bloggers - you and The Corkums. Now I have the chance to add much more to my reading list:) I will be blogging a lot more about CC in the future. I think I only blogged once or twice about this past year of Cycle 3.

  9. This is great!! I've been lurking on your blog for awhile and we are officially starting to homeschool my daughter who is starting K in the fall. I'm not sure if I'm going to blog often about it, but we loved our "experiment" year in CC this past year. Thanks for the links so we can see what everyone will be doing and for the fantastic resources.

  11. GREAT idea! This will be our 3rd year in CC...we have 2 children in CC. My wife directed Foundations last year and I tutored Essentials. This year I'll be directing Challenge A. I will need all the help, resources, like-minded conversations, & encouragement I can get! :)

  13. Brandy, thanks for doing this! This past year was my first year homeschooling my children through CC. Your blog really helped fill in the gaps for me! At a friend's encouragement, I started a CC blog part way through the year. I'm excited to do even more with it in the 2012-2013 school year. Also excited to see what you & everyone else shares!

  18. Melissa Corkum sent me over to your blog - this is our first year homeschooling and we will be in Melissa's local CC community. I am SO GLAD she sent me to your blog, I ordered the lapbooks and am excited to put them in use!

My blog is mostly adoption/orphan care related in addition to our normal family stuff, but I'll be blogging about homeschooling too once the year starts! Looking forward to connecting with other CC homeschooling mamas!
