A few years ago, our family came across our most favorite Christmas tradition: The Advent Jesse Tree. The Jesse Tree is a simple yet profound way of telling the story of Jesus’ genealogy and the historical account of God’s plan of redemption, starting with creation and following through to the birth of Christ. It includes an ornament and a scripture reading for each day of Advent. This tradition has become so important to our family that we’ve specially designed and crafted a set of ornaments corresponding to our favorite Advent Jesse Tree devotions so you can also join us in bringing Christ into the center of your Christmas festivities!

Our original set of 25 ornaments (pictured below) corresponds to the 25 devotions offered in the book The Advent Jesse Tree: Devotions for Children and Adults to Prepare for the Coming of the Christ Child at Christmas.
Each ornament includes a devotion for children and adults for every day from the first day of December through Christmas Day. The devotions trace the heritage of Jesus through the stories and prophecies of the Old Testament.
This set of 25 ornaments is crafted from 1/8″ Birch Wood with each ornament measuring 2-3/4” in diameter. These are made in the USA here at Half-a-Hundred Acre Wood, Tennessee!
