Care to join us for dinner?

The conversation is quite engaging…

And we always eat at least ONE BITE of our veggies:
though sometimes Mom needs a microscope to see it.  Like
David’s “bite” of carrot here.
Sometimes we WEAR our food…

Sometimes we SHARE our food:
We make important discoveries…
Rigatoni noodles ARE like Chinese finger cuffs!
And help MomMom out as much as possible:
like when David & Levi used ten cups to split one
small bottle of milk between three thirsty boys.
Although sometimes we run out of silverware…

…we always find ways to improvise.
Special requests are honored…
like when David wanted his PB&J cut into a circle.
And the most frequent topic of discussion revolves around
knock-knock jokes that don’t make any sense:
“Knock-knock, Mommy!”
“Who’s there?”
“Truck!”
“Truck who?”
“How are you doing today?!?”
In honor of Daddy, we like to see who can make the best MOOOOOO-stache!

Then there are the times when Mommy braves the world
and takes us out to eat
ALL BY HERSELF…
Just to hear her child say over and over again,
“I can’t BELIEVE they named a pizza place after me!!!!”

Written with love to my children and my husband, who make suppertime really special!
May I never forget the simple things that make life so sweet!
